SPUTNIK LAUNCH comenzó su actividad como una fiesta que giraba en torno a música electro alternativa que, en sus comienzos, la pandemia bloqueó. Con el ánimo de que el proyecto permaneciese, se trasladó a un programa de radio en una emisora DAB y FM (Intensa FM) asociado, a su vez, a plataformas digitales. Consiguiendo, en 2020 y 2021 estar entre los quince más destacados de la plataforma Ivoox.

El late motive de esta exposición cultural siempre ha sido hacer de esto algo participativo para contribuir a que la desgastada escena dj mantenga su estabilidad. Por ese motivo, se ha hecho de este proyecto una comunidad por la que han pasado artistas de calaje musical como por ejemplo We Are Not Djs, Madraassoo, Angel Pop o Nando Costa.
